This fine Khanjar is Turkish, 18 C. or earlier. Narrow curved and double edge blade, chiseled and fullered. It is forged from fine wootz steel with high contrast pattern. Ivory grips with gilded silver grip strap. Wood scabbard with velvet cover (later) and gilded silver mounts. Blade 8 ½ inches. Total 14 inches. Very good condition. Small damage and old repair on the scabbard tip.
