Fine Tuareg Dagger - 11880

This fine dagger is from the west Sahara region, early 20 C. , used by the Tuareg and others residing in the region. Finely forged blade 7 inches long of a flat diamond cross section and engraved brass bolster. Ebony handle with steel mounts and copper pommel tip. Tooled leather scabbard. Total length 14 ½ inches. Very good condition. Blackened sots on the blade and the steel mounts. |
