This dagger is a Double Blade Bichwa, a rare weapon in the Indian arsenal, meaning: ‘The Scorpion Sting’. It is probably 19 Century. The blades are double edged, re-curving, 8 inches long, with a flat diamond cross section. The hilt is steel, ring shaped, riveted to the top of the blades and covered with engraved brass. Total length 13 inches. Very good condition.
