This very unusual heavy knife is Indian (or may be Afghan), mid – lat 19 C. Wide blade with a partial T spine chiseled at the base. Whole steel handle. Later wood scabbard opened at the top to allow withdraw of the blade, covered with colorful fabric. Blade 12 inches long, 2 ¼ inches wide. Total length 17 inches. Very good condition. Very interesting knife.
