This Jambiya dagger is Yemenite, coming from South Yemen and known also as Hejaz Jambiya. It is late 19. Massive blade with pronounced central rib 8 inches long. Handle of rhino horn of very dark color and with silver mounts. Wood scabbard covered with red fabric. At some later date the scabbard was reinforced with glued newspaper pieces, and a written label was added. Total length 12 ½ inches. Very good condition. One silver dome on the pommel tips is missing.
