This shield Buckler is Indian, early 18 C. or earlier. Made of very thick hide (Buffalo ??) and decorated with brass small domes all around and steel handle bosses. Original leather handles. Diameter 13 inches. Very good condition to age. Age cracks in the hide and dents on the metal mounts. A rare item.
