A very good Arab Khnjar / Jambiya dagger, late 19 C., from Oman. It has a 7 inches curved and dual edge blade, very well forged with a pronounced central rib. The grip is rhino horn decorated with silver panel on its front side and mounted with filigree silver collar. The scabbard is “L” shaped covered with leather elaborately embroidered with silver strips and wires, and mounted with silver locket en suite with the hilt mounts. The belt attachment is made of complicate arrangements of silver rings and twisted silver wire. Total length 12 inches. This Khanjar comes with its original embroidered belt Very good condition. Small repaired damage at the pommel tip and the scabbard.
