This very fine Assib Jambiya comes from the Asir region, North – West Yemen. First half of the 20 C. Complete with heavy silver belt and silver bandolier to hold gun bullets. Blade of good quality 7 inches long. The heavy belt includes a bullet container and two amulet containers. The bandolier fits probably to the 8 mm caliber of the French Lebel rifle bullets. Total of more than 2.5 Kg of silver. Very good condition. Very rare.
