This dagger / short sword is used by the Yakoma people from Zaire, but also find use with their neighboring tribes of the Sangi and Ngbandi. Heavy, very well forged 8 ½ inches blade with thick “ear” at the base. Wood handle bound with brass strip. Total length 13 ½ inches. Very good plus condition. Mid 20 C.
