This small machete like short knife is most probably Indonesian from Java, late 19 C. The heavy blade is 5 ½ inches long, 3 inches wide, very finely forged with fullers, ridged spine and clipped tip. Honey colored horn handle with a bird shaped pommel. Hardwood two colors scabbard. Total length 11 inches. This knife comes with a cotton thread used as a belt. Very good condition.
