This Jambiya dagger is Yemenite, early 20 C. Well forged blade 8 inches long with a pronounced central rib. Horn grip with silver mounts and iron nails decoration. Leather covered scabbard with silver mounts and Carnelian stones (one missing). Total length 12 inches. Very good condition. The belt arrangement and the Chape reminds of the Omani khanjar which certainly influenced the maker of this dagger.
