This Billao dagger is early 20 Century and comes from the coastal people of Somalia. It has a classical non-symmetrical leaf shape blade, 10 inches long. The handle is made of two ivory sectors separated by layers of horn and brass. The pommel cap is silver. Original hide scabbard with remains of the leather belt. Total length 8 inches. Very good condition. Minor blackened spots on the blade.
