This Qama dagger is from Dagestan, late 19 C. with the blade made by Abdurahim, a known sword maker of the period. The multifullered blade is 12 ½ inches long marked with two birds with the name (worn) signed between the birds. Horn grips. Original leather covered scabbard with blackened silver mounts. Total length 19 inches. Very good condition. Blackened spots on the blade. |Minor damage to the scabbard.
