This Jambiya dagger is comong from Iraq, employing an early blade, probably mid 19 C. with a later, mid 20 C. handle and scabbard. The blade is 6 inches long, curved and double edged with a central rib. The handle and scabbard are heavy silver, very finely engraved with flowers and typical Iraqi river scene. Total length 12 ½ inches. Very good condition.
