This fine heavy knife is of the Rentong family, coming from Sumatra. The thick blade is 10 inches long, forged from very fine pattern welded steel with clear high contrast pattern. The steel bolsters has the remains of gold inlay (True inlay). The handle is beautifully carved hard wood. Total length 15 inches. Very good condition. Losses to the gold inlay.
