This kard is a most interesting Indo-Persian blade. A slender very slightly curved double edge blade 9 ½ inches long, with a central rib, forged from beautiful wootz (Damascus) steel. Steel bolsters, ivory grips and chased silver grip strap. Total length 14 inches. Very good condition. A later silver band on the pommel is added may be to conceal a crack or a damage to the grips.
