This is a classical example of the famous Khyber sword coming from Afghanistan. The heavy massive blade is 22 inches long, 2 inches wide with a pronounced T spine. The bolsters and grips straps are steel. The grips are ribbed horn with good age patina, Original scabbard covered with leather and mounted with silver mounts. Total length 30 inches. Very good condition. Minor dents on the silver mounts. Minor losses to the leather. A fine and impressive sword. All parts original without repaired or replaced parts.
