Up for sale is this Turkish Qama, early – mid 19 C. Finely fullered blade 17 inches long. Chased silver handle set with many drop shaped corals. Silver covered scabbard also set with coral with the same design. The back of the handle and of the scabbard are proof marked with a Tughra. Total length 23 inches. Good condition. Shallow pitted spots along the edges of the blade. Small losses and solder repairs on the back of the handle and the scabbard. The lower part of the scabbard is professionally restored.
