This is a classical example of the famous Khyber sword coming from Afghanistan. The heavy massive blade is 25 inches long, 2 inches wide with a pronounced T spine. The bolsters and grips straps are brass with red painted engraving. The grips are ribbed horn with good age patina, Original scabbard covered with tooled leather and a steel chape. Total length 34 inches. Very good plus condition. A fine and impressive sword. All parts original without repaired or replaced parts.
