This long and unusual sword is Indonesian, probably of the parang family, but we are not sure of where exactly it is coming from. The 25 inches long pamor blade is finely fullered. The horn handle is beautifully carved in the shape of a bird head with a long open beak. Chased silver collar. The wood scabbard is bound with silver strips. Total length 34 inches. Very good condition. Minor edge nicks.
