This Kattar dagger is Indian, late 18 to early 19 C. Finely forged and fullered Wootz (Damascus) steel blade. As common in similar Kattars, only the fullered area is etched to reveal the pattern whereas the edges are left polished. Blade 9 inches. Total length 16 inches. Very good condition. Minor pitted spots on the blade. Very Attractive price.
