This type of Jambiya dagger from Yemen is also known as Thouma and it is probably coming from Sana’a. Original old blade 7 ½ inches long, with a pronounced central rib. Horn handle decorated with brass imitation coins. Heavy brass scabbard. Original wide brocade belt with silver and brass decorations (some later repairs). Total length 13 inches. Good condition.
