This Indo - Persian shield is mid 19 C., steel, decorated with fine etched design of human figures, floral design and inscriptions in Arabic letters richly decorated with gold and silver koftgari decoration. Diameter 18 inches with brass rim around. Very good condition. Three small holes probably used for hanging. The inner fabric cover, hand cushion and handles are missing.
