We offer here for sale a rare find, a complete sword, probably of the Konda tribe from Zaire, with its original scabbard. The blade, in very good condition is 12 inches long with central rib and side fullers. The grip is wood covered with copper sheet and bound with brass strips. The pommel is also entirely covered with copper but slightly damaged at the sides. The scabbard is wood lined with heavy leather and fitted with steel reinforcement strips on the side and top. All in very good condition except the damage to the pommel covering.
