This very fine set of knives is India, late 18 – early 19 C. Its comprises of one kard knife and two folders. All with very fine, dark, high contrast wootz (Damascus, watered) steel blades and steel handles richly decorated with gold inlay work in a very fine floral pattern. This set comes with its original box, with recesses for each knife and dark red velvet cover. Box length is 11 ½ inches. Very good plus condition. A very fine and impressive set.
