This fine Yataghan sword is from Turkey, mid 19 C. Well forged blade with crisp maker mark 23 inches long. Silver bolsters and grip strap and fine elephant ivory grips. Very finely chased, heavy silver scabbard. Total length 32 inches. Very good condition. Grips with few age cracks and good age patina. One solder repair on the scabbard. A fine Yataghan.
