This very good shield is Indian, early to mid 19 C. 14 inches diameter, heavy steel set with four bosses and finely decorated with brass Flowers around the rim and a snake shape figure all inlaid with silver koftgari work. Original inner fabric and hand cushion. Very good condition. Losses to the silver inlay . Very elegant shield.
