We offer for sale this fine Turkish Shamshir sword, with a blade forged from Sham steel (Turkish / Syrian wootz) of low contrast pattern, 29 inches long. The grips are rhino horn of light honey color. Grip strap cross guard and scabbard mounts are silver. Original leather covered scabbard with its original classical spiral stitching. All silver parts are stamped with the proof mark marking. Total length 37 inches. Very good plus condition.
