This massive Jambiya dagger is early 20 C. coming from the Western regions of Arabia, Hijaz and Asir. The blade is 17 1/2 inches long, 2 ½ inches wide and very well forged. Finely chased heavy silver handle and scabbard mounts with the remains of the original belt made from colored leather strips. Total length 24 inches. Very good condition. A massive and very impressive dagger.
