Early Big Georgian Qama With Twisted Steel Blade Core - 11202

This early Qama is Georgian, late 19C. Very well made blade forged from a core of twisted steel bars forge welded between hardened steel edges. Blade is signed with a crisp maker mark. Horn grips with nielloed silver rosettes. Blade 17 ½ inches long, 2 inches wide. Total length 23 inches. Very good condition. No scabbard. Very impressive Qama. |
