This Sewar knife is from Sumatra late 19C. The blade is massive 9 inches long and 11 mm (almost ½ inch) thick at its base. Slightly down curving, single edged with double fuller. Finely carved bird head black horn handle. Wood scabbard with horn mouth and tip bound with twisted silver wire bands. Total length 13 inches. Very good condition.
