This long Qama / Kindjal dagger is most probably Chechnian, late 19 C. Classical blade 14 ½ inches long, with an off-centered fuller. Horn grips with chased and nielloed silver mounts. Leather covered wood scabbard with large nielloed silver locket and chape with Georgian inscription on the back and styled engraving. Total length 23 ½ inches. Very good condition. Minor blackened spots on the blade.
