Telek Dagger of the Tuareg - 11107

This is one of the many Variants of the Arm Dagger carried by the Tuareg. I t is called Telek or Gozma, and one of its characteristics is the cross shaped pommel (A relic from their Christian origin ??) . This specific one has a whole brass scabbard and arm ring. The blade is double edged, 13 ½ inches long and crudely engraved with styled moon (as commonly found on better blades). The hilt is cast brass engraved on its front face. Total length (in scabbard) 19 1/2 inches. Good condition. Brass arm ring damaged. |
