This very fine Arab Jambiya Dagger is also known as Mecca style with a silver scabbard and with a highly uprising scabbard tip. The blade is of good quality, 8 inches long, double edge with a central rib. The grip is Solid amber like material with good age patina, set with silver filigree decoration and silver rosettes. The scabbard is finely engraved silver. Very good condition. This dagger has a unusual highly uprising scabbard tip. Later researches shows that this style of dagger – in spite of the name – is found also in many regions in Yemen.
