Up for sale is this very fine Miquelet pistol, Caucasian, late 19 C. Very good large caliber barrel 14 inches long, forged from finely twisted steel (Damascus), decorated with gold inlay work and signed with a maker stamp. Miquelet lock in good working order (need small adjustment), beautifully decorated with gold inlay work. The wood stock is entirely covered with nielloed and gilded silver . The top of the but is steel rod with gold inlay as well. Total length 20 inches. Very good condition. A very fine piece.
