This heavy Indo - Persian shield is late 18-early 19 C., steel, decorated with fine chiseling of floral design and inscriptions in Arabic letters and traces of gold koftgari decoration. Diameter 18 inches with brass rim around. Very good condition. The inner fabric cover, hand cushion and handles are missing.
