Heavy and Unusual Khukuri Knife with Kora Handle - 11053

This heavy Khukuri knife has a 15 ½ inches long blade of the type known as Tin Chira (Three fullers) and with a ridged spine. The blade is marked with the lunar mark of the Nepalese armory. The handle is steel, in the general shape of a Kora handle but with a steel D guard. Leather covered scabbard with steel tip. This Khukuri comes with the accompanied small knife and steel (Karda and Chakma) in a rear compartment. Total length 22 inches. Very good condition. Minor pitted spots on the blade. The top seam of the scabbard is open and partially (but a bit crudely) repaired. Losses to the leather cover. A very impressive and well balance fighting tool. |
