One of the rarest forms of kerises, the Coteng from the Malayan peninsula. Short 8 inches long blade, very well forged with flat diamond cross section. Hardwood hilt in the Coteng typical shape with its long beak. Silver collar. Wood scabbard carved entirely from a single piece of finely grained wood. Total length 11 ½ inches. Very good plus condition. Blade with age patina. A very rare piece.
