This set of two knives (Trousse) is of Balkan origin, probably Bosnia, late 19 C. The big knife has a 6 ½ inches long blade. The smaller blade is of a similar shape 4 inches long. The handle of both knives are made of sectors of bone and horn, partially dyed green and set with small brass inserts. Leather covered scabbard. Total length 12 inches. Very good condition.
