This type of long Jambiya dagger is common in the Western regions of Arabia, Hijaz and Asir. Sometimes it is referred to by collectors as Wahabite style. The one offered here is of good quality , the blade is plain, high carbon steel, 14 1/2 inches long. The grips are horn with heavy granulated silver. The scabbard is wood with big fine silver locket, and chape with filigree work and brass covered central piece. Total length 20 inches. Very good condition. Scratched and grinded blade.
