Early 18 C. Battle Axe - India - 10982

This is a very early type of a short battle axe from Central India which was used by the aboriginal Indian people from as early as the 16 C and up to the 19 C. The broad, 10 X 7 inches blade is mounted through its socket on a short wooden haft, 17 inches long. Very good condition. Very rare version of the big variety of Indian battle axes. |
