We offer for sale this fine Turkish Shamshir sword, with a blade forged from Sham steel (Turkish / Syrian wootz) of low contrast pattern, 32 inches long. The grips are rhino horn of light honey color. Grip strap cross guard and scabbard mounts are gilded and engraved silver. Original leather covered scabbard with its original classical spiral stitching. Total length 39 inches. Very good plus condition.
