This Barong sword from the southern Philippines is slightly different from the well known Barong sword. The blade is longer and narrow and has a shallow wide fuller below the spine. Well forged steel that shows certain pattern which we think is a result of heat treatment and edge hardening. Nicely carved wood grip with brass collar. Blade 21 inches, total 26 inches. Very good condition. No scabbard.
