This very fine buckle is Turkish, early 19 C., for use with belts carrying the weapons, Pistols as well as Swords / Daggers. Heavy cast brass decorated with fine filigree decoration, all finely gilded and set with big ribbed coral stones. Length 9 inches. Very good condition.
