This fine sword is coming from Zaire, Africa, most probably the Ngombe people. Very finely forged steel blade, sickle shaped and very nicely fullered, finely engraved and inserted with copper inserts. Hardwood handle bound with steel strips. Blade 19 inches, total length 23 inches. Very good plus condition.
