Up for sale is this fine Koumaya Dagger from Morocco dated to 1310 (1892 in the Gregorian calendar). Well forged fullered blade, 9 inches long, double edged at its lower half and single edged at the top. The handle is carved from a single massive piece of Rhino horn with a very clear fibrous structure. The pommel head is chased silver as well as the grip collar and scabbard, both marked with the local silver proof mark and dated to 1310. Total length16 inches. Very good condition. The silver pommel has few small cracks and minor solder repairs.
