This lance is Indian, early 19 C. with a wootz (Damascus, watered) steel blade nicely fullered and mounted with a 5 inches socket on its original bamboo haft. A 5 inches steel tail is mounted at the end of the haft. Traces of gold koftgari work on the blade bolster, the socket and the tail. Total length 83 inches. Very good condition.
