This very fine Khukuri is most probably a presentation or a commemorative unit. It was most probably made in Calcutta, early 20C. Heavy 13 ½ inches long, almost 3 inches wide blade, with double fullers and ridged spine. Whole steel handle. Scabbard with original leather cover and heavy steel mounts. Both the handle and the scabbard mounts art very finely engraved. Total length 18 inches. Very good plus condition. A very impressive Khukuri.
