A beautiful Jambiya Dagger from East Turkey / North Iraq used by the Kurdish people residing in this region. Late 19 C. The blade is 9 inches long (point to point) curved and double edge with a central rib. The hilt is “I” shaped cut from black, water buffalo horn and set with four silver filigree domes. The scabbard is made of heavy silver in a typical Kurd style. Total length in scabbard is 16 inches. . Very good condition. Minor dents on the silver.
