Very Rare Big Size Bronze Axe Head, Egypt 1800 B.C - 10740

From Egypt, second half of the first millennium, around 1800 B.C a period also known as Middle Bronze II, comes this beautiful and rare axe head, also known as Epsilon axe. One of the biggest seen: 11 ½ X 4 inches (compared to 5-6 inches long of the more common ones), with three pierced legs used to connect it to a wooden haft. Very good excavated condition with nice untouched age patina. This axe is coming from the collection of the late Mr. S. Dubiner, a well known collection of ancient bronzes.
